Campaign Management

Create, schedule, and analyze high-performance email campaigns with Transmit's streamlined workflow.

1Preparation

Before launching a campaign, ensure you have your assets ready:

Importing Contacts

You can bulk import contacts directly into a list using a CSV file. This is the fastest way to migrate from another provider.

CSV Format

email,firstName,lastName,metadata
john@example.com,John,Doe,{}
jane@company.com,Jane,Smith,{}

Column Mapping: Transmit will automatically try to map columns like "Email Address" or "Name", but you can manually adjust them during import.

2The Campaign Flow

1

Compose

Start by defining your Campaign Name (internal) and Subject Line. Select a verified sender identity and choose a template to preload your design. The editor allows for full HTML customization.

2

Audience

Choose the specific List you want to target. Transmit will automatically calculate the recipient count.

3

Preview & Test

Review a realistic preview of your email. Use the Send Test Email feature to receive a live copy in your inbox, ensuring perfect rendering across devices.

Always send a test email before broadcasting!
4

Review & Schedule

Finalize your settings. You can choose to Send Now for immediate delivery or Schedule for a future date and time.

3Analytics & Reporting

Once sent, track your campaign's performance in real-time from the main Campaigns dashboard.

Cloning Campaigns

Save time by duplicating existing campaigns. Cloning creates a exact copy as a new draft, allowing you to quickly iterate on successful broadcasts.

Look for the Clone action in the campaign list or detail view.

Pro Tips

Timing Matters

Schedule campaigns for Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday mornings (around 10 AM) for historically higher open rates.

Regularly clean your contact lists using Transmit's bounce handling to maintain a high sender reputation.
