Drip Campaign
A drip campaign is a sequence of pre-written emails sent automatically at predetermined intervals. Unlike one-time broadcasts, drip campaigns deliver the right message at the right time based on a schedule or trigger. Each email in the sequence builds on the previous one, guiding recipients through a journey from awareness to conversion or activation.
Drip Campaign Best Practices
- ●Start with a goal - Define what action you want recipients to take
- ●Map the journey - Plan each email's role in the sequence
- ●Space emails appropriately - 1-3 days between emails is typical
- ●Personalize content - Use the recipient's name and behavior data
- ●Include clear CTAs - Each email should have one primary call-to-action
- ●Exit conditions - Stop the sequence when the goal is achieved
- ●Test and optimize - A/B test subject lines, timing, and content
